Of First Importance

Every Easter, we celebrate that Jesus is risen—but Matthew’s Gospel reminds us that even the first disciples worshiped while some “doubted.” This means that doubt isn’t the opposite of faith; it’s often part of the journey toward it. Our Easter message explores how the resurrection becomes the anchor we return to in the middle of life’s confusion, questions, and brokenness. In a world—and even a church—that can feel messy, the resurrection remains “of first importance,” the truth that holds everything else together. The invitation of Easter is simple but profound: you don’t have to have everything figured out to come to Jesus, but you are invited to take a step toward Him today.
