Throughout the book of Isaiah, there is a persistent, prophetic longing for the Messiah—one who would come to rescue the people of God and set the world right. Writing into a time of deep darkness and uncertainty, Isaiah points again and again to a divinely appointed Savior who would bring lasting hope.

In Isaiah 9:6, the prophet gives us names that reveal the heart and character of this promised Messiah. This week, we will focus on one of those names: Everlasting Father as we reflect on what it means to trust in a Father whose love does not fade, whose presence does not leave, and whose kingdom will never end.
