At the end of the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus makes a beautiful promise: "I will be with you always." In this third message of our Incarnatus series, we're exploring what that promise actually costs and means — that the eternal God, who exists beyond time itself, becomes human, enters our world, and subjects himself to the limitations or our experience of time. This week, we consider what it costs God to be present in this way with us, and why this gift of time might mean more than we can imagine.
