To Lead Us to Himself
In Exodus 19, the peopleĀ of Israel have finally arrived at Sinai, the mountain God promised He would deliver them to. However, while God did just what He said He would do and brought them exactly where He said He would, there is reason to believe that the land they've been brought to was never the true destination or ultimate goal. This raises a question - if the land isn't the goal, what is? Throughout this series, we've been unpacking why God sometimes leads us the long way home. In this final message, we'll ask the question, "What do we even mean by 'home'?" Is home a place, geographical location, some piece of real estate, or something else altogether? Is it possible that the long way home wasn't to a place at all, but to a Person; not somewhere, but Someone?
