In a recent study, boredom was described as the number one motivation for social media use. Boredom came in at around 52%, while no other motivation ever even hit 20%. As far as motivations go, it was the clear winner and it wasn't even close. What does this tell us about the human heart? What is it about boredom that drives us towards endless, mindless scrolling and how does this speak towards our great need and God's even greater love?
