Deer Lake Church, a growing Global Methodist Church of around 200 in Sunday attendance, is seeking a part-time Contemporary Worship Leader. DLC hosts two Sunday services, one Traditional, the other Contemporary, and we are currently in need of someone to lead our contemporary band. We're looking for someone humble, open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, familiar with modern worship songs, comfortable with hymns, and (preferably) able to play guitar. This is a part-time position (10 hrs/wk) with the ideal candidate being perhaps a college student looking to grow in their calling to ministry or someone already established in their career and looking to lean into the gifts and graces of music and worship that God has equipped them with. DLC is also looking for a part-time youth pastor (30 hrs/wk) and for the right person, these two positions could be combined to make a full-time role. We are seeking a Youth Pastor to take our student ministry to the next level. We're looking for someone who loves Jesus deeply, is passionate about student ministry, and longs to help students discover and develop a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus for the glory of God and the sake of the world. As a church, we are deeply committed to not only creating meaningful spaces for students to cultivate friendships with students their age, but we are actively working to create a truly intergenerational church where the wisdom of the old and the wonder of the young blesses all and overflows into the neighborhood around us. Currently, our student ministry sees about 25-30 students each week. The right person for this role is humble, enjoys teaching God's word, is innovative, highly relational, fun and above all else, has a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Currently this is a part time position (30 hr/wk), but there is the possibility of this being a full-time position. The church is also in need of a contemporary worship leader so if someone's gifts and passions overlapped between the two, we would be open to this conversation as well.

This part-time position (10hr/wk) involves facilitating Bible studies, mentoring students, planning and attending events, camps, etc. We are looking for highly relational, fun-loving, humble interns who have growing personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

Our Kids team is looking for a few more adult team members to join us! We need people who love Jesus, love kids, and like to have fun! Team members will work with a variety of ages nursery - 5th grade. This is an hourly position (<10 hrs/week). There are opportunities to work on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and a couple other days of the week.
