Two Ways to Serve this Spring
Check out these two special opportunities to serve others around the world this Spring!

Special Cuba Collection
Our church member, Doug Nordby, is traveling to Cuba to visit our church friends in Guasimal (see photo) this April. As our team prepares to visit and bless our partners in Cuba again this year, we are requesting:
Medicine: Analgesics/pain relievers, probiotics, antihistamines, any Excedrin especially migraine relief, adult and children’s vitamins (not gummies). No prescriptions, please :)
Food Items: Powdered milk and rice
Stretch Request: Donations for a solar system and repairing the church roof. Any monetary donations should be earmarked “Cuba” and payable to DLC.
All donations are due to the church office by Sunday, April 5th.
God Bless You (Dios te Bendiga)!

Soles 4 Souls
Doing some Spring Cleaning? Save all those shoes and cardboard boxes, please!
Soles 4Souls collects gently used shoes and sends them all over the world to people in need. If you've ever found yourself barefoot on hot asphalt, you know how painful that can be! Shoes might feel like a small thing in the grand scheme of all the need that's in the world today, but as Mother Thersea said, "We can't all do great things, but we can all do small things with great love."
So here's the game plan: during Lent, we're inviting you to bring in gently used or new shoes to donate to Soles4Souls. All donations can be dropped off on Sunday mornings in the Sanctuary lobby, or you can stop by the office during normal business hours.
