Seniors

Young at Heart strives to build a community of seniors serving seniors in our church family as well as a clearinghouse to coordinate and communicate the needs of our seniors. Young at Heart provides opportunities for fellowship, education, meals, and so much more! Our focus is on anyone “seasoned” in life (roughly 60 and up), but anyone of any age is welcome to get involved, both by attending our events and volunteering to serve. 

Young at Heart invites adults of all ages to join them for a fall retreat centered on "A Closer Walk With Jesus." This retreat will include 3 teaching sessions, worship, communion, an interactive missions activity, and a prayer walk on the beautiful grounds of Goodwood Museum & Gardens. A catered lunch will also be provided :)

Again, the retreat will take place at Goodwood Museum & Gardens on Monday, August 24th from 9:30 am to 2:45 pm. Registration begins at 9:00 am.  The cost is $25/person, and can be paid online at the link below or in-person on Sunday mornings via the GIVING boxes (designate your cash/check to "YAH Retreat").

Young at Heart invites the more "mature" ladies of our church ladies to the Gathering Hall every second Monday of the month at 11:30 am for lunch and laughs!

Seniors, you're invited to join us for a Seedbed Bible study called The Letter to the Romans on Tuesdays at 3 pm at the Red Hills Village Retirement Resort on Cold Harbor Drive. This is an ongoing class - join anytime!
