Seeking

Luke 15 is filled with stories of lost things being sought by those who value them. A shepherd seeking his lost sheep. A woman seeking her lost coin. A father seeking his lost sons. Every story is different. Every lost thing is unique. Seeking a sheep looks different than seeking a coin, just as seeking a prodigal son come home looks different than seeking a child who never strayed. But one thing remains constant across all three stories: the value of what's lost is never diminished by distance. As we continue in our WITHNESS series, this week we'll explore what it looks like to seek others the way Jesus seeks us.
