Relational Evangelism

Of all the places the Apostle Paul spent time planting churches and proclaiming the gospel, Ephesus is the place he spent the most time - about three years. In that time he developed deep, meaningful relationships with the people there and led many of them to faith in Christ. How exactly did He do this? How did his time with these people, in this place, contribute to the many coming to put their faith in Jesus? This week we'll look at what is often called "relational evangelism" - sharing our lives with people as a means of pointing people to life in Christ. While it is often assumed that relational evangelism downplays the use of words and spiritual conversations, what we see from Paul suggests a very different understanding of this vision for evangelism.
