From Belief to Beholding
Growing up, most of us were taught that it is important to believe in God. Don't get me wrong, belief is important and something we most certainly want to nurture in ourselves and others. But what if belief is just the beginning of how we are to relate to God; what if we've settled where we were actually meant to just get started?
In the book of Job, a man named Job has an experience of God that rocks and wrecks all his former categories. In God's presence, face to face, experiencing Him in real time, Job realizes everything he thought he knew about God wasn't enough - God is better.
