Fear Yields Faith

So what exactly is the "fear of the Lord"? 

That's the question I keep getting from folks as we navigate this series, Fearfully Unafraid. We know what it's not - it's not being afraid of God - but what is it then?

Here, the Bible can be a bit frustrating. Instead of a nice, neat, tidy definition, the Bible presents TFOTL in images and expressions, as a catch-all term for drawing near to and doing life with God. However, for those still craving clarity, Psalm 34 might be the closest thing we get to something like a 'definition'.

This week, we'll try to iron out just what is TFOTL and in the process, we'll begin to see that whatever it is, TFOTL is more, not less, than we think it is. Confused? You're in good company.
