Most of us want to be generous givers of what God has entrusted to us but, the times we’re living in don’t always lend themselves to acts of generosity. We'd like to be generous but, life is really _____ now, and it's not a good time. This, however, begs a question: when we say the timing is ‘off’, whose timing are we referring to?

Throughout the scriptures, God calls people to do things that don’t make sense, especially in regards to timing. And yet, God summons people to radical acts of charity, generosity, and obedience, not because it makes sense, but because some things can only be understood in hindsight.
