Sow In Faith
Can you imagine praying that it would not rain and for the next three years, not a single drop of rain falling upon the ground? That's exactly what happened when Elijah prayed - he prayed it would not rain and for the next three years, the clouds refused to yield their waters. If that doesn't raise questions for you, I don't know what will! But the text tells us that not only did the rains eventually come, that when they did, "the earth produced its crops". While these words might be easy to overlook in light of more supernatural moments in the text, these 5 words give us a beautiful glimpse of what was happening even when the rains refused to fall: people kept planting seeds.
This week, we'll unpack what it means to sow in faith - to sow the seeds of time, treasure, and talent in faith, even when we have no idea when it's going to rain next. Wanna learn to sow in faith? Join us this Sunday to learn more.
