Jesus says we cannot serve two masters - that it's just... not... possible. God and money, money and God - they have no interest in co-chairing the throne of our hearts. In the end, one will receive our devotion, the other our contempt, and more often than not, money finds a way to usurp God's rightful role in our lives. So what is it about money that is so deceiving? What is it about money that makes us think we can serve it and God without compromise or concession?
