Giving Joyfully

“God loves a cheerful giver.” Have you ever stopped to consider how wonderfully wild that statement is? The God who is love, whose very essence and nature is love, has gone out of His way to inform us that He loves a cheerful, happy, joyful giver. Please understand - this doesn’t mean God doesn’t love people who don’t give from a posture of joy, but it does mean that there is something crazy beautiful to God when people give from a posture of joy. So what exactly does joy-fueled giving look like and why exactly does a person that gives to God and others joyfully thrill God's heart in such a powerful way?
