Gratitude Sunday
Normally, when we think about the impact of generosity, we think about how generous giving can provide the basic, material needs people have - food, water, shelter, etc. This kind of thinking is absolutely correct; giving can and does do this. According to 2 Corinthians 9, the problem with this thinking isn't that it's wrong, but that it's too small. Generosity not only meets people's material's needs, but addresses people's spiritual needs in ways we may have never considered. This Sunday, as we celebrate Gratitude Sunday, giving God thanks for who He is, and as an expression of this thanks, bringing in our 2025 pledge cards, we'll explore the far-reaching, heart-transforming impact that generosity can produce in others, even when we're completely unaware.
